Rare Vintage Corgi'60s 007 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Car (261) Nr Mint

The car measures approximately 3.75 inches long x 1.375 inches wide x 1.12 inch high. The car houses the James Bond figure and the gunman and there is a spare gunman in the base of the box. All figures are "Mint" (10/10).

I only came across it a few days ago by chance as it was hidden away in a plastic drawer unit and had not been out of the box for many, many years. I was astonished by the condition of the car and even more so by that of the box, both are like looking at "ex-shop stock". See below for the condition report for both. 1 The Car : This has 3 minor blemishes, the first is a pinpoint loss of paint to front passenger side, near the headlight (see close-up photo). The other 2 blemishes are "manufacturing blemishes", each being caused by a tiny piece of debris being caught in the painting of the car, the 1st to the roof (see close-up photo) and the 2nd to the driver's door (see appropriate photo). All other parts/aspects of the car are "Mint" (10/10) and all intended functions work perfectly. Finally, the bullet proof shield has "tarnishing" to the back surface occurring with time.

2 The Box : There is a slight "crease" to one of the small end flaps and a very small (0.125 diameter) slight protrusion on the outer surface of one of the end flaps (see close-up photo). Otherwise the box is in "Near Mint" to "Mint" (9.5 to 10/10) condition. I have never seen this particular box look so good. The colours are like new!

3 Cardboard Insert : This has slight "bowing" to the base from the weight of the car over 55 years (nothing significant though). The rest of the insert is "Mint" (10/10). The colours are again like new. 4 Instructions & Paper Container Packet : The packet has been carefully opened and both the packet and instructions are "Near Mint" (9/10 - some slight very light creasing to the instruction sheet).
