This is an early edition of the classic Corgi that everyone wanted in 1965/6. It is an excellent example with very good paintwork, the only marks being on the roof. The features are all working and it has good suspension all round. That's quite unusual these days as many have failed due to the brittle plastic structure that provides it. There is a baddie but James has temporarily taken a stroll.
This is all original and the screens are clean and clear of cracks or scratches. The roof often lies slightly raised but, if the ejector seat is properly reset and, with a little patience, it can be persuaded to stay flat.
The early edition can be identified by the missing sidelamps at the front as well as smaller door handles and less well-defined vents in the front wings. I have written a more detailed article about these which you can find on my catalogue web site. This is supplied with a very nice reproduction box by DRRB which includes an accurate copy of the'Secret Instructions' envelope and leaflet inside. There is no badge or spare baddie with this one, although they can be supplied on request at extra cost. Remember that these toys are around 50 years old!
