Corgi 261 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 One owner from New
I'm listing my Corgi Aston Martin DB5 James Bond model - number 261. I bought this in 1965 from Ryders the toy and model shop at the top of Chequer street in St. Albans (opposite the side of the town hall). It cleaned out all my savings but I just had to have it. The price is still visible marked on the end of the box. I never played with it, treating it instead as a model rather than a toy, I was too proud of it to do otherwise. So it is still in unmarked mint condition and comes in the original box with the secret instructions in the 007 envelope, the display stand, and the spare passenger. It doesn't have the lapel sticker; that was stuck under the lapel of my school blazer and fell off on the second day..... All that was some 56 years ago, back in 1965, but I can't keep everything!
