Corgi 270 James Bond 007 Aston Martin, in Very Near-MINT condition. In rare 1st Issue'Wing-flap' Packaging. With Secret Instructions Packet and contents.

Made by Corgi in England, this famous model, of the James Bond Aston Martin is in gloss Silver with gold-chromed bumpers, spoked hubs with black rubber wheels, and fold-away front machine guns, rear'bullet-proof' screen and opening roof with ejector seat. Red interior with 007 at the wheel. With revolving front and rear number plates and red plastic rear wheel slasher spikes. With blue'baddie' figure in car, and a spare in the packet. The car is Very Near-MINT. All'trick' mechanisms are in working order. The front machine guns instantly pop-out when the switch is pushed, and the rear bullet-proof screen is equally fast when the exhaust pipes are pressed in. The ejector seat mechanism and opening roof are working, but require care when operating. Over the years, the seat has become very slightly out of alignment.

But as you can see, it still does the job! The original owner has applied some of the adhesive number plate labels but obviously did little else with the model! The car sits on a very near-MINT card plinth with opens to reveal the Secret Instructions packet which, although opened, is otherwise MINT. Inside, we find the correct instruction leaflet, spare baddie figure, unused lapel badge and the partially-used number plate sticker sheet. The car and plinth sit inside the clear plastic vac-formed plastic bubble which is lovely and clear.

It has pulled slightly away from the winged backing card on either side. The illustrated winged-header card is in Excellent original condition. Still a lovely example, becoming hard to find.
